Creating a PDF

Use Macabacus to generate PDFs of print areas in your workbooks. Macabacus' PDF functionality offers a few advantages over Excel's native PDF functionality:

  • Macabacus does not include anything outside of your print areas, ensuring only the desired content is printed/published.
  • Optionally recolor fonts to your default font color (typically black) for more professional outputs.
  • Optionally scan for formula errors before generating the PDF to avoid embarrassing mistakes.

Send Workbook

Click the Macabacus > Send button to PDF print areas from selected sheets or an entire workbook and attach the PDF to a new Outlook email. You can optionally choose to compress (zip) the attachment and select other options.

PDF to Folder

Click the Macabacus > File > PDF to Folder button to generate a PDF of print areas from selected sheets and save the PDF to the active workbook's folder.
